Rajasthan rains: MeT points orange alert in 5 districts as rains lash elements of state

A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Jalore, Pali, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh, and so on.

The meteorological division (MeT) has issued a warning for Rajasthan forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in elements of the state. An orange alert, which is legitimate until the following 24 to 48 hours, has been issued for five districts, together with Sirohi, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur, and Banswara. 

Rains continued to lash a number of elements of Rajasthan for the second day in a row on Friday, with Mount Abu tehsil recording 117 mm rainfall within the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am, the MeT Division in Jaipur stated.

Sedwa in Barmer district, Udaipur and Chittorgarh recorded 65 mm, 25.three mm and 32 mm rainfall respectively, it stated.

In keeping with the MeT Division, the monsoon will stay energetic in most elements of east Rajasthan for the following three-four days, whereas situations are beneficial for energetic monsoon at some locations within the western a part of the state.

A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Jalore, Pali, Nagaur, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh, and so on.
