LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday condemned the racist abuse aimed toward gamers of the England soccer group after their defeat within the remaining of the Euro 2020 remaining.
“This England group should be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media,” Johnson stated on Twitter after abuse was levelled at three Black gamers who missed within the penalty shoot-out that determined the match.
“These answerable for this appalling abuse ought to be ashamed of themselves.”
