Maruti Suzuki hikes costs of Swift, CNG variants of different fashions by as much as Rs 15,000
The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Monday stated it has hiked costs of hatchback Swift and CNG variants of different fashions by as much as Rs 15,000.
The value change for Swift and all CNG variants is owing to a rise in varied enter prices, Maruti Suzuki India stated in a regulatory submitting.
“Improve in ex-showroom costs (Delhi) is as much as Rs 15,000 on the above fashions. The brand new costs are efficient from right this moment i.e. July 12, 2021,” it added.
Earlier than the value hike, Swift was obtainable at a value vary of Rs 5.73 lakh to Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) throughout variants.
Maruti Suzuki sells CNG variants throughout its vary of fashions, together with Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco and Ertiga with costs starting from Rs 4.43 lakh to Rs 9.36 lakh.
In April this 12 months, the corporate had hiked costs of most of its fashions, barring Celerio and Swift, by as much as Rs 22,500 to partially offset the rise in enter prices.
